EIFS (pronounced 'eefs') - Exterior Insulated Finishing System

It is very important that EIFS be inspected.  This is true even with the prettiest of installations or on the most expensive of homes.

It is a simple fact that most EIFS is installed wrong. 

EIFS that is installed wrong can cause severe damage to your home.

In some cases, lending institutions will deny financing or refinancing for a home with EIFS that does not meet their standards.
